As a softball player, I take extra steps to become a better athlete for myself. After practices, I work some more on techniques, weight lifting, skills, etc. When my team isn't practicing, I make sure to practice by myself. I make sure to take my health, strength, and academics seriously.  I would say that my dedication to softball is very strong, I make sure if I want to be better and excel, I have to always put 120% effort in, even on the bad days.  Even though I was late to the game and started in 7th grade with my school team, Sandy Run, and started travel ball that summer on Velocity 14u, I have picked up the sport quickly and fell in love with it. Since 7th grade I have always seen myself playing at a higher level. I have enjoyed each of my teams I have been on competitively and as a group. As a team player, I like to include everyone and make everyone feel comfortable, you can always count on me to support you. Having good sportsmanship is a extremely important part of your playing ethics, which I feel I have a very good approach to.
