I have been involved in organized sports since I was 5 years old. I quickly fell in love with softball and began playing travel by age 8. Over the years I have played all positions; but, have found my "home" in center field (which is the position I currently play in both high school and travel ball). I am acrobatic in this position and live for the "diving catch" that seems impossible. I am athletic, driven, and competitive. I have played with my current travel team for six years. We have become a family through wins and losses, highs and lows. Building a relationship like this with a team is essential for success. We celebrate our victories as a team, but also come together after losses to learn, grow, and support one another.
Besides softball, I also play high school volleyball (also travel), swimming, and track. I love to stay active and involved in activities both in and out of school. I also dance, am involved in church activities, and work part-time. I find that having a full schedule keeps me organized and helps me better manage my time. After high school, I hope to continue my softball career in college while majoring in an animal sciences field such as Zoology or Wildlife Biology.
