I have been playing softball for as long as I can remember. It has always been my rock and a distraction from any struggles in my life. I love being part of a team that I can call my second family, who is always there to support me in my lowest and highest moments. When choosing a college team, I hope to become a part of a program that I will not only feel supported and bettered by the coaches but also loved and welcomed by my team. I have always been a teammate that is optimistic in all situations and will continue to work hard to help my team. I have been nominated as a captain on many of the teams I have been a part of, which makes me feel honored to be a teammate and friend that is looked up to. Not only do I love to compete and win, as many do, I also think big part of playing this game we love is having fun and getting 1% better every time out. I want to continue to grow in my softball abilities as well as help other grow not only as a athlete, but also as a person and as a student. In my eyes, giving back to the game is a big part of being an athlete that younger girls look up to. To support this, I assistant coach a 12u Green team at Spooky Nook as well as helping out the 10u team as much as possible. I have been an honors student, taking many honors and AP classes every year through high school, and am always willing to help someone out if needed. Becoming a collegiate athlete will only better myself as a person, athlete, and student.
