Carly Santillo '18 Recruiting Profile

A highly-driven student athlete that takes my classes and my softball very seriously. I take pride in the little aspects of catching, and my most proud statistic behind the plate is that I haven't had a passed ball in over 3 years. In my Freshman season, I was named First-Team All-Section catcher, giving up only 2 stolen bases all season  while throwing out 18 runners.  am a leader and I continue to work hard in school and have improved dramatically as a softball hitter over the past year. I have known that I want to be a special education teacher since 6th grade and I recently received a Do The Right Thing award from our school board for my compassion and efforts to help struggling students. I love to help others.
