I feel I have a great deal to offer any university, both academically and athletically. I become a different person out on the field. All of my insecurities fall away and it's just me and my unfortunate opponent. I try to give more than my best in every situation. In the past year I have emerged as a leader among my teammates and I am looking forward to growing in that role. I continue to strive for perfection and when it doesn't go perfectly I focus on a lesson I learned in recreational league when I was young. That is the lesson of the elm tree: excellence, learning, and mistakes. Regardless of where I end up, it will be where I have been and those who have taught me that I will continue to guide me.
