Personal Statement

My goal is to play high school and travel softball with the intention to continue to play at the collegiate level, and obtain an excellent education to enhance my professional life in the future.  I am a highly motivated and focused person in all aspects of my academic and sports life.  In particular, I work extremely hard and intensively during work outs and in the classroom. I have a high GPA and I am willing to make the extra effort and push myself to become better. I strive to be the best by setting my own personal standards and achievement goals. Like any other human, I make mistakes. However, I am quick to recover and I don't let it get me down.  I would be a great addition to any team because I am self motivated and a leader.  I provide encouragement to my team mates and work with my coaches on making myself and the team successful.

I started my softball career when I was 5 years old. I joined a 10U softball travel team when I was 9 years old  and have been a team member ever since.  I really enjoyed playing in Pony Nationals in 2012 and the USSSA World Series in 2013. I also participated in cross country and came in 8th place out of 100 runners in the PAC10 Championship during the same year. In 2013, I also played school basketball as a point guard. I have a black belt in karate which demonstrates that I have discipline and pay attention to detail.  Last year, I went to the 2014 ASA 18U Nationals and came in 7th place.  My aspirations include excelling academically, athletically and socially.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
