Personal Statement

My name is Naomi and I’m looking to transfer to a 4-year school that will push me academically and athletically. I am very passionate about the sport of softball, whether it’s games, practices, work off the field, or even watching games online.

Not only have I been playing at the highest level in my province for 7 years now, but I have been able to maintain a high GPA. Even in my first semester at college, I finished with a 4.0 GPA. I was also a part of a historic moment for Quebec softball, winning Quebec’s first silver medal at the Canada Games contributing as the leadoff batter and starting second baseman.

I am a gritty player who maintains a strong mindset through the ups and downs of this game. I am a speed player who gives my all for every ball. I use failure as an opportunity to improve.
