I started playing softball when I was five years old and I've always had a strong passion for it. At the age of nine I started entering pitching camps and clinics and I fell in love with the game. Softball has taught me many things like leadership, patience, trust, and how to stay calm in tough situations, it's also taught me determination, drive and the urge to win. At 14 I was pulled up to play an older age category in the Regina A league where I was able to to play great ball against older girls at a younger age and earned my way as the starting pitcher.
Academically I thrive, including earning a 4.0 GPA my sophomore year and awarded being on the honour roll. I've learned how to balance my academics and athletics so that I can succeed in both. They are both extremely important to me and that is why I want the opportunity to play softball while earning a college diploma.
I believe that I would be a great fit to any program due to my grades, talent, and determination. I am easy to get along with and am a happy and friendly person. As a multi-sport athlete with captain experience, I would be a great asset to your program.
