Madison Ward '14 Recruiting Profile

I have enjoyed playing  softball since the age of 4. Starting out in coach pitch and then moving up to fast pitch I knew this was a sport I really enjoyed. My love for the game grew more and more each year that I played especially when I was asked to play on my first travel team, Gaston Thunder. Most people dread waking up early in the mornings, but I look forward to getting up early on tournament games because I am ready to play. I have heart for the game and I am always willing to listen to coaches advice to better myself.  Everyone has a dream whether it is big or small. My ultimate dream ever since I was a little girl is to play softball at the collegiate  level. I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to play softball at Spartanburg Methodist College for  Thad Fox who is a great coach and I have nothing but positive thoughts for him. I am in my sophomore and final year here at the college and I am looking to further my education as well as my softball career at a university. I am in the study of radiology well I want to become a radiology assistant with a bachelor in science.
