Emma Kate Elrod '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach! My name is Emma Kate Elrod and I am a 2024 Lhp from Jackson, TN. I fell in love with a sport that has not always loved me back. Softball has taught me to work hard no matter who writes me off. When I was 10, I was cut from my travel team and was told I was not good enough to play the game. Through hard work and Jesus Christ, I have overcome both physically and mentally to continue my softball journey. I have had to learn to work hard to reach my goals. Whatever tasks are put in front of me, I will find a way to get the job accomplished no matter the work it takes. I may be scarred, bruised, and exhausted but I will never give up my love for this game. I look forward to learning more about your school and program.
