My name is Haylee Barnett. I am a 2027 student and am currently a Sophomore at Peabody High School in Trenton TN. I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old. One of my main goals has always been to play softball at the college level. I have been striving to one day attend Tennessee for softball. Ever since I stepped on the field for the first time, I knew this sport would be a huge part of my life. On the softball field is where I feel the most confident and it feels like home. Softball has aspired me to be a better person.
This sport has been what has pushed me to strive for academic excellence. I strive hard in the classroom to maintain my grades. I am involved in our school's BETA club and participate in our school's STEM program. I also help out with the HOSA club.
I strive to be a leader both on and off the field. I believe that starts with a good attitude which must come from me first. I try to motivate not only myself but my teammates. I respect my coaches and my teammates and truly believe it takes all of us to succeed.
I want to attend college to complete my education and attend the college that helps me reach my academic and sports goals. I enjoy competition and desire to attend a college that helps me find the highest level of competition possible.
