Hello, My name is Victoria Gonzalez and I’m 15 years old and stand 5’10. I am a sophomore at PSJA Memorial Early College High School. At an early age I found out that hard work pays off. This season I have started to notice that through diligence and continued dedication to the sport my play has gone to the next level. I feel confident that I will be an asset to any program that provides me the best opportunities to advance my educational and athletic career. I am proud to say that not only have I had success playing softball, but have a fond calling to three additional sports. During my sophomore year I played volleyball, basketball and Track and field and all as a starter. Currently I have been recognized as a top 10% student of my class. I have also received the honor of being inducted into the National Honor Society. Last season I was named second team all district and award the Team golden glove award at 1B for the softball season. During this years Basketball season I was awarded with the district honorable mention award. When it comes time to elect a college, I want to make sure it offers the degree I want to pursue, which is nursing. However, my major might change over my high school career.
My realistic athletic goal is to keep playing at the highest level of competition. I also want to inspire young girls that want to play softball and other sports. Accomplishing my goals and dreams during my student athlete career will make me a positive role model in my community.
