Samantha Herrera '21 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to attend a college or university and study architectural design while continuing to play the sport I have come to love so much, softball.  I have been playing softball year round since I was 6 years old.  In the summer of 2017 I was selected by the USA Elite Futures All American team to represent the 13U Southeast region on their National team in Florida.  This past summer I play in the Sparkler JUNIOR All Star Showcase in Colorado.  And from playing in that I was selected by College Coaches to play in the All-American game.  I am currently playing with 16U Illusions Premier out of Houston.  My passion for the game makes me a good candidate for the team.  I was taught at an early age that I had to work hard for what I wanted.  For this I am grateful for.  It has always helped me to push harder to improve myself and to be a better player.
