Somewhere behind the Athlete I have become and the many hours of practice and all my coaches who have pushed me is a little girl who fell in love with the game and have never looked back. I have been playing softball since I was four years old. Softball is my "passion" and playing at the college level would be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I will graduate as a 4 year Letterman and starting varsity since my freshman year of softball for the Lady Mustangs. I was named Defensive Player of the Year my Freshman year. My Sophomore year I was honored with Academic All-District and selected All-District 2nd Team Pitcher. I am a right hand pitcher, in addition I also am a power hitter and play First, Shortstop and Outfield. My pitching strengths are spin, movement, and location. In the Fall of 2018 I was selected as a Texas All-State player.
In the classroom I study hard and excel to my highest potential. I am a proud member of the Taylor FFA Program, where I have competed on the Ag Quiz Team, Ag Skills Team, Ag Floral Team, Ag Wool Team, Ag Cotton Team and Ag Issues Team as well as participate in the Katy Livestock Show - helping with the Special Rodeo and showing my lamb. I also participate in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I will serve as the 2019-2020 Chair for Growing Leaders for Taylor FFA.
I also am very active in the community. Since 2015 I have been a member of the National Charity League Katy Chapter, where I volunteer in my spare time with many philanthropic causes in my community that are very dear to my heart ~ Texas Children's Hospital, Christmas Families, Katy Christian Ministries, Ballard House, Red Barrel, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Brookwood Community and Kidz Club Afterschool Tutoring. I also am active in my church youth ministry program where I participate in youth mission trips to New Mexico and I also help teach Vacation Bible School.
I consider myself a great leader. I work hard to craft my pitching that I have been "Blessed" with and study the game through watching college games and going to pro games. Through hard work and determination and staying humble and kind you can reach your goals. I hope to become a great role model to all those young girls who fell in love with the same game as me all those years ago and make my parents very proud!
As Muhammad Ali was quoted, "If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it - then I can achieve it."
Thank you for taking the time to read about me Coach and I look forward to hearing from you.
