My name is Isabella Garza and I am part of the 2025 graduating class. I am on the Corona Angels 18U Coleman team and my primary position is second base while my secondary is outfield. I have been in the Corona Angels organization since 2018. Being inducted into the National Honor Society with a 4.0 GPA and taking AP classes, academics are my priority. I plan on majoring in Cybersecurity or Computer Engineering and pursuing a career in Cyber Security. I am looking to play collegiate softball at a university with a strong technology program.
During the 2024 High School season I helped my team place 3rd out of 24 teams and was awarded the All-Tournament Team award at the BSN Bayfront Bash Tournament with a batting average of .429 with 5 Doubles and 8 RBI's. I also co-led my high school team in doubles (12 Doubles) and was awarded 26-5A All-District Honors for the Spring Season.
On the travel softball side, I participate in speed and agility twice a week to become stronger and faster in hopes to benefit my performance on the field. I lift weights with a certified strength trainer, work on my speed and agility with ex NFL players Ramon Richards and Johnny Ragin, and my skills defensive training is with former Oregon University Softball assistant coach, Nikki Udira-Ragin. In addition, my team participated in the 2024 Colorado Sparkler where we won the 16U Open Division Championship. We also earned a birth to the Alliance Nationals in Indiana in July; I helped my team with an RBI in the semi-final regional game. We're now ranked #8 in the TFL Alliance and #37 nationally in the Alliance Fastpitch. I am ranked in the Top 5 for the Stars of Tomorrow in S2 and Vizual Edge for the class of 2025. I look forward to my upcoming years in this sport and plan to continue training to help me have a better chance on receiving scholarships for college softball.
