Madison Estes '27 Recruiting Profile

When I was younger my parents always pushed me to try all different things including types of sports. My first taste for the game of softball was short lived, I was playing T-ball for about a month before we had to move (military family). We moved to Virginia I tried a couple of different sports until my parents asked if I would like to try softball again. So, I started playing and I instantly fell in love with the game. The anticipation of hitting, the proud feeling of making a play and helping out my team makes me love the sport.           

I am a Sophomore at Lake Belton High School, in Central Texas. My primary position is Catcher and my secondary positions Third and First base. I am a very versatile player so I can play wherever you need me, and I will get the job done (I have played everywhere but pitcher). I have a very special place in my heart for sports and other athletes. I want to have a career that highlights my love for sports and my dedicated motivational skills. I have had many people from coaches, umpires, teachers and others complement me on my positive attitude and vibe or the way I bounce my team and I back when we make an error or a not-so-great play. When I am behind the plate, my number one priority is making sure my pitcher is calm and she believes in herself. If I can make her feel comfortable and at ease, she does her job and everyone else on the field can feel that, so they do their job at 110 percent.
