I strive to be the best I can be out on the field and also in general. I really like a team atmosphere and have learned a lot from playing sports. I think the hardest lesson I have learned from sports is humility and that anything can happen. This year we lost all but 4 games and it was really a good lesson to learn that even though it was frustrating our team came together when we needed it the most and still made the state playoffs surprising everyone. My goal is to be the best I can for as long as I can and follow my dreams of playing at the next level while giving 100%. I have worked hard not only on the field but also in my free time to better myself. My team is very important to me and I try to be a leader on and off the field and set a good example every where I go.
I will also finish up my senior year playing 4 years of softball and volleyball. I have been on the varsity team for softball all 4 years. I have been on the varsity volleyball team for 3 years and I am a captain for the varsity volleyball team this year. I have also just made the varsity basketball team. As a three sport athlete I think this has given me the drive to keep my grades up and also show that I am well rounded in multiple sports.
I am very interested in Nursing and want to finish as an anesthesiologist. It has been a dream of mine since I was in 7th grade. I have had my CNA certification since the fall of my junior year and will graduate using this as I move on from here.
I love the challenge that softball brings with every play, when I'm on the mound knowing that I have to make a pitch or charging a bunt and making the play, to getting that big hit when my team needs me. Being great on the field is just as important as being great off the field. With the opportunity to play College softball it would give me the tools that I need to succeed in life. I am excited for the experience to meet people and let my glowing personality shine through to show everyone I have what it takes to take it to the next level.
