2022 Spotlight Personal Statement
It has always been my goal to pitch competitively in college. I am currently the starting varsity pitcher for my high school, Cedar Valley High. I am also the number one pitcher for my competitive team, Saratoga Thunder (coached by Ray Lundberg and Glen Lundberg). I have been playing softball for 9 years and absolutely love the game. When I'm not pitching I am either playing 2nd, 1st, or 3rd as a utility player. I hit 3rd or 4th in my lineup as a contact/power hitter and typically lead my team in RBIs. As dedicated as I am to softball, my education always comes first. I am working toward a career in Sports Medicine and hope to play softball while pursuing my degree.
