Halle Carpenter '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend college and continue to play softball. As 2020 graduate I am undecided on a major but am looking towards psychology and/or interior design. I am a hard worker that strives to help my team be successful -I learned early that team success is what matters and by doing the little things we can make big things happen. Maintaining good grades is important to me, and I work my hardest to keep my grades up - I have a 3.86 GPA. I recently scored a 21 on the ACT after scoring a 26 on the practice ACT so I will be retaking it to get a better score. I play high school softball and from late May through February I play on the Utah Heat 16/18u travel softball team. My team is one of the top teams in Utah and does very well in Showcases nationally - we recently took 3rd out of 50+ teams in Las Vegas at the USAPreps Stars and Stripes Showcase/Championships.  I lead by example and respect my coaches. I work hard to improve my game on a daily basis and have grown up around the game. My Pitching Coach is Lindsey Palmer DeLeon who was formerly the pitching coach at Weber State University and is currently the pitching coach  at Salt Lake Community College.
