I am currently a junior in high school at Lyndon Institute in Lyndonville, Vermont, and it has always been my dream and goal to play softball at the college level. I have been playing softball since I was rouhgly 5 years old and am now currently a starter on the Varsity team at my high school. I have been a captain on many of my sports teams and I am always giving 110% in practices and games. I have completed a leadership/captains course at my high school, and during freshmen year I was apart of a leadership program. I am currently taking all honors classes and one AP class, and I plan to increase my work load to three AP classes and the rest honor level classes for senior year. I have been apart of High Honors at my school since half way through freshmen year, and I am currently apart of AHS (Athletic Honor Society). I also do community service with our local youth programs when I can, and I have done some communtity service at my local senior meal site. It is important for me to give back to communtiy for everything that it gave me, and for how it has shaped as a strong individual. I take pride in my academic success and I am proud to be a student athlete. I would love to continue on to play sports in college, espescially softball. As I say, "I don't dream, I set high goals, because I don't chase what I want, I achieve what I want", and I want to achieve my goal of playing softball in college.
