Personal Statement

I am an exceptionally strong, self-disciplined Christian Athlete with purpose.  I'm a dynamic player that's consistently successful due to excellent coaching and the diligence with which I prepare.  The epitome of a "gamer", I track balls instinctively while covering ground like a cartoon character.  You'll be shocked at the ease with which I routinely snag "gappers".  I throw "stingers" from the outfield, eliminating would-be extra bases.  I bunt with precision, slap with reliance, and hit with power.  Quite simply, I play the game of softball at an ultra-high level.

Academically, I am studious and strive for perfection in the classroom.  I wish to capitalize on my softball prowess in order to position myself for success in later life by obtaining an esteemed education.  I work hard to ensure my goals will be met, and when opportunity presents itself, I seize the moment and take the fullest advantage of the circumstance.  I believe that as a member of my church and as an honor student that my devotion to betterment is exemplified.

I am an MVP, a World Series Champion, a captain, and an all-conference selection.  I've worked out and played on the fields of various colleges and universities, including:  the University of Tennessee, the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech and Bluefield College.  If you are looking for an impact player that's cerebral and produces positive results with regularity, then I'm your girl.  I always bring an enthusiastic, supportive, encouraging attitude coupled with a stringent work ethic.  Furthermore, you can be certain that I come as advertised.

He told me that my skill level has a very high ceiling, and that I have the potential to play in Division I. He said that I track balls instinctively, and that I have a very strong arm. He advised me to keep working hard and to stay in touch because they don't recruit in my area.
