Personal Statement
From my years of playing softball, I have learned that much more can be accomplish together as a team than you can as an individual. I have enjoyed the comradery of the game and the lifelong friends I have gained from playing softball. My passion and commitment has allowed me to lead by example and help bring out the best in my teammates. I was delighted to use the leadership skills that I have developed on the field in my most recent appointment as a Page for the Virginia House of Delegates. This unique experience has further motivated me to strive for the highest level of academics so that I can increase my potential to make an impact not only within the college community and on the field but also in my future.
I am looking for a school that offers me both strong academic and athletic program. I love and enjoy working with children and hope to pursue a career in medicine .I am very interested in science and plan to explore studies that will prepare me for medical school. I am confident that I will be an impact player not only in the circle, but also in the infield and in the lineup. I am looking to join a program where I can make an immediate impact as a freshman.
