Highlights of 202...Personal Statement
For college, I hope to play ball while I get my bachelors in an interesting field of study like marine biology, animal sciences, or environmental sciences before going on to veterinary school, because I'm very interested in and enjoy keeping animals. I participate in my schools outdoor programs and do white water kayaking and mountain biking and go on the back country ski trips and hikes. My summer job also is mainly focused around whitewater kayaking with Passages. I‘ve competed in the King of the James Triathlon in the years 2020-2022 doing the mountain biking portion. For my freshman year softball season my batting average was a 0.462, sophomore year my batting average was a 0.617 topping out for most of the season at 0.724, my junior year school season was 0.467. I believe that I will do well in college ball because I am very coachable, optimistic, and learn from my mistakes. I also have maintained a 4.361/4.0 GPA while participating in travel and varsity softball, and other athletic activities throughout the year; mountain biking and kayaking in the summer and fall, and lifting in the winter, and maintaining A's in high-level honors and IB courses with ease throughout the course of my junior year.

- I have been working with Coach Joe Frostik, of Improve Your Game, at least once a week for over 5 years. Sadly, Coach Joe died unexpectedly on October 10th. I have started lessons with Coach Mark Meleski to continue my development.

- ActivitiesI volunteer regularly at the American Legion Post 186 and I got awarded American Legion Auxiliary Outstanding Youth Award for the past two years, I’ve had major involvement in developing and grooming trails on the 70-acre St. Micheal’s Episcopal School campus and I also assist with extended day program there, I’m a member of the Natural Forensics, Science Society, GSA and PALM clubs
