When I was in sixth grade, I realized that I wanted to go to the next level, when I had the opportunity to play with girls who are now D1 players. I was the only sixth- grader to make the school team and we were the undefeated All-City Champions. I have played with the same caliber teammates for both school and travel teams. During my freshman year (2019), I was starting third baseman for JV and we went 9-1. I was one of only 5 freshmen invited to join varsity who went 22-1. During my sophomore year (2020), I was set to be starting catcher. Being the youngest of four siblings and coming from a blended family has taught me to stick up for myself. My dad is a retired Navy SEAL. He has had several deployments and we have moved many times. But through that experience I learned to roll with the punches. Softball has been a constant in my life no matter where I’ve lived or where my dad has been, I’ve always had softball to rely on to get me through the tough times. My goal is to become an athletic trainer so I can continue helping athletes, and hope to be a college athlete myself.
