Throughout my life I have participated in many levels and types of sports, but softball has always been my favorite. Since beginning in the recreation league in elementary school I haven't stopped striving to improve my skills in the game. In high school I enjoy challenging myself by playing three varsity sports; basketball, volleyball, and softball. Cross training through all seasons helps me stay in shape for travel softball in the summer and any activity I choose to do. During the year I am working different areas and doing all kinds of drills with varied coaches so I am comfortable playing with any type of coaching strategy. Outside of sports I am involved in choir, National Honors Society, Key Club, and Beta Club. Staying involved in athletics and other school activities helps keep me away from just focusing on one thing. The clubs and elective classes I take develop my mind in all areas. Going into college and continuing my softball career is very important to me. Softball gives me the focus to perform my best in all academic endeavors and is a valuable part of my life.
