Pitching skills v...Personal Statement
I am a 5'8" pitcher from Woodbridge, Virginia and I will graduate with the class of 2018. I play for the Virginia Glory Gold travel team. I pitched every pitch as a freshman on varsity for Forest Park high school and received a 2nd team all conference selection. As a sophomore I received 1st team all conference pitcher, had a .415 batting average, and ranked in the top 10 in the D.C. Metropolitan area for RBI's. As a Junior, I received first team all conference and 2nd team all region honors.
I am looking for a college with a good balance between academics and athletics. I'm interested in pursuing colleges along the east coast, the southeast, and the west coast. My ideal athletic environment would be one where I could make a big contribution to the pitching staff and team as a whole. I'm very open to any school size. I am looking to major in health science, kinesiology, or biology.
