As I finished out my junior year of high school we were the 2B State Champions. The year before that we placed 4th in state. That wasn’t quite what we wanted. For our upcoming year we had a different mindset, our goal was to play in the last game of the tournament. We did just that and came out on top. The experience of winning state for your community, your school is like no other feeling. It helped me grow as a better athlete and a even better person for not doing it just for yourself but the people around you.
I have been fortunate enough to play for Teresa Wilson for about three years. She taught me so many things about work ethic, determination, and what working hard really means. But she also taught me to value the people in your life that mean the most to you. I am currently being coached by Rob Bennett and he has made me love the game even more. He knows what it takes for girls to get where they need to be and he’s instilled that in us very well. I am looking for a college that is the best fit for me and that feels like “home”. I believe that I have the talent, the work ethic, and the grit to compete at the college level and make a immediate impact for your program.
