June 2017For my career, I have decided to go into Elementary Education. I also want to teach abroad, not just in America. I think it would be a very interesting experience to teach other children in different countries. I love working with kids, I volunteer at the nursery in my church at least once every month and I peer mentor at an elementary school near my high school.
Along with playing fast pitch, I was also on a competitive swim team. Swimming is a tough sport and it has taught me to work hard and has given me a tough mentality. I work hard and try my best at practices and also outside of practice when I practice pitching with my dad. When I pitch during games I am good at ignoring the loud cheering of the other team. If my team is losing I have been able to ignore the score and focus on the task at hand. I am not easily frustrated if things are not going the way that they should.
School work is definitely one of my top priorities. I make sure to manage my time and finish all my homework on time to maintain my grades. I also keep my grades up so I can be a part of National Honors Society. I have been above a 3.5 GPA every year since 7th grade, and I plan to keep it that way through out my high school life.
