Committed - Western Oregon University - letter of intent signed 11/10/2021
Throughout my athletic career I have played several sports, but none of them have created a passion and love for the game like softball has. Regardless if I’m hitting, base running, pitching, or playing defense, I love how every pitch of every game demands my full attention. I strive to be as good as I can possibly be every single day.
I am completely focused on becoming the best softball player I can be and I’m committed to my training in the weight room, developing my softball skills, and working on conditioning/agility. In August 2019 I began the transition to hit from the left side of the plate. I have dedicated multiple days a week since that time to work on these skills on my own and with a slap hitting instructor.
My speed has always been an important asset to me and my team. My speed has allowed me to track down balls in gaps and often beat out infield ground balls. My home to first time is 2.7 seconds as measured by my NSR scout. I take a lot of pride in being able to take an extra base when I have the opportunity. I love stretching a double into a triple, and turning singles into doubles. Playing college softball is all that I think about 24/7/365.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my goal of becoming a college softball student-athlete.
