Hannah Walker '16 Recruiting Profile

I have enjoyed playing organized softball since I was six. When I am on the field, I am confident and happy. I have always played at the highest competitive level in my state and my goal is to continue playing at the college level. I joined the WA LadyHawks after playing 14U on the elite PGF Team Seattle coached by the University of Washington Huskies coaching staff. I also ranked in the top 5% of all OnDeck Seattle attendees!

My biggest strength other than my natural athleticism is my personality, I love to keep my teammates laughing. I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am coachable and strive to be the best teammate you’ll find.

As a freshman and sophomore I played varsity 3rd base and shortstop for Lake Washington High School and this past year we took the State Championship. I earned KingCo 3A "All Conference First Team" and LWHS School Team Athlete of the Week (WIAA) honors.

I want to attend a college where the team wants to be the best they can be. I am open to all options and hope to find the right balance in a college that can play at the highest level of competition while keeping the sport enjoyable!
