Brooke Dodson '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My Name is Brooke Dodson, I am from West Richland Washington. Softball has been my saving grace in life. I play on a traveling team and for high school.  Softball has given me a lot of things including some of my best friends and lessons that I am forever thankful for. I am a high achiever and have done well in school with maintaining 3.8-4.0 GPA. Softball is so important to me and so is getting an education.  I hope I can achieve a big goal of mine by playing at a collegiate level and get a college education. I have been playing ball since I was 6, it has made me who I am today. I love getting coached and hearing others' opinions on how I can improve, and most of all I do everything with passion. I have also learned how to have a strong mindset and not let myself get down which I truly believe is the most important part in softball and academically too! I am so determined to succeed in reaching my goals I set for myself.  I am never not smiling on the field; I am a positive, friendly person with a huge heart that would do anything for my family, which I believe sets me far apart from others.
