Hi! I am Isabella Brischle, but I go by Bella, and will be graduating in the class of 2025. I have many goals for my athletic career, but the one on top of the list, is to play colligate softball at the highest level I can.
A little bit about me, I was born and raised in Spokane, Washington, sister to a younger brother, daughter to a fire fighter and I love to travel. I have played many other sports, including, basketball, volleyball, and a little bit of soccer, but my passion is fastpitch softball. I am very hard working and focus on being a great teammate. Being a catcher, you are the leader of the field, so stepping into that role, I am very loud, positive, and competitive in the field and in the dugout.
I have been a catcher for 6 years and have played club/travel ball for a total of 5 years, being the main catcher on each of those teams. I made varsity freshman year for my high school. On each team and group of girls I play with, I strive to learn and contribute. My teammates and coaches would describe me as hardworking, leader, friendly, and someone they want on their team.
Outside of softball and in my future, my hopes are to become a physical therapist, athletic trainer, or go into something in the medical field. My current academic focus is Biomed which is the human body and science. I have also been very inspired by trainers I have had and still train with to be an athletic trainer. Whatever my future profession is, I want it to make a positive impact on people's lives.
A little about my family... I have a very supportive family with my mom, dad, and younger brother. My grandfather was the Head Baseball Coach at Gonzaga University for more than 20 years, two of my uncles that played D1 baseball, and an aunt that played D1 volleyball. So, I am very familiar with what it takes to be successful in collegiate sports. Our family's moto in "Effort and Attitude" and my goal with everything I do is to control those two things to the best of my ability.
