Personal Statement

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to play softball at the highest level at a university and for a team that is a good fit all-around.  My personal strengths as a softball player include: never being satisfied with my performance (can always do better), give 110% effort, and being coachable (always listening and trying to apply what I have learned).  I sincerely love the game of softball and pride myself in never cutting corners. I have a strong work ethic and desire to improve my game.  I absolutely love to be challenged and embrace the opportunity to compete at the highest level.

Maturity and leadership skills (on and off the field) often separates me from my peers. I encourage others through my play and hustle on the field and through my positive words and body language at all times. I also pride myself in being a team player and building relationships with my teammates and coaches.  WE before ME....... it is my desire to be part of something bigger than myself, and to contribute in whatever ways necessary to achieve our goals.

I take academics as seriously as I take athletics, if not more so. I understand that to be a successful student-athlete, sacrifices need to be made and priorities need to be managed.  At school, I am hard-working, focused, and respectful and am often praised by my teachers for the positive contributions I bring to their class. I am confident all of these efforts will continue to help me reach my larger goals in softball, and in my life.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
