Delaney Bollman '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Delaney Bollman. I'm a junior at Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Washington, where I have a 4.0 grade point average. I aspire to play softball at the collegiate level and pursue a degree in Business Administration and Sports Management. Softball has left a lasting impression on me. I've learned to be tough, resilient, and how to overcome obstacles. I've learned the importance of teamwork and working together to reach a common goal. I have become dedicated to the game year-round in all aspects of softball.  

I've been a varsity starter for my high school since my Freshmen year, where I led the team in the circle with a 2.0 ERA and spent time at 2nd base and the outfield. When I'm not pitching on my travel team, I usually play shortstop. I often lead my teams in batting average, on-base percentage, extra-base hits, home runs, and stolen bases. I was named to the 2nd Team All Conference Fastpitch Team for 2A/3A Mt Saint Helen's league my sophomore year and to the 1st Team All Conference Slow Pitch Team for 2A/3A Mt. Saint Helen's league this past fall. I am very focused on my goals and have worked hard to build a strong understanding of the game.

In addition to softball and finding a school that will support me academically, I am also looking for an environment that will support my weightlifting goals. I currently finished 2022 ranked #5 in the country for my age and weight group, and hope to make the podium at USA Nationals in 2023. I am highly focused and embrace competition in the classroom and on the field. I'm confident I can add value to your school based on the role you need me to play.
