My name is Kamille Kautz and I am a 5’4 short stop with my secondary being third baseman. I am in the graduating class of 2027 and play for a select travel ball team called PNW Force. I have been playing select since I was eight years old with the same organization. I consider softball to be one of the biggest influences in my life. As an enrolled tribal member of the Nisqually tribe, I want to be a positive role model and example to other young tribal member girls. I want to set the example at the collegiate level as we have few indigenous athletes that go on to the collegiate level. Getting a good education is very important to me. I have continuously made the Honor Role at my middle school.
In my current softball career, I have had multiple great opportunities and experiences. During my first year of 12u my team PNW Force traveled to Reno, NV for Nationals where I was selected to play in the All American games in Reno Nevada where my team went undefeated and I won a finalist award for the home run derby. We also traveled to Phoenix, Az; Chino Hills, CA; Las Vegas, NV; and San Diego, CA. I finished my 12u career with traveling to compete in the week-long Alliance tournament in Oklahoma City, OK where I was able to visit the OK Sooner stadium where that experience solidified my softball dreams. We started out my first year of 14u season with traveling Las Vegas, NV and have more experience ahead of me.
