Paige Halstead '15 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to attend a local college to get a bachelor degree to be a Registered Nurse. After receiving my degree, I plan to work for CAMC as a RN for 5 years until I am able to be accepted into CAMC's program to become a Nurse Anesthetist. After finishing that program and graduating from there, I plan to work for CAMC as a Nurse Anesthetist. I would be an excellent candidate because I am very hard-working, determined, and I will be the biggest cheerleader that you have on the team. My current teammates wait on me to start cheers and be the first person to pick someone up. I am different from all of the other recruits because I will listen and do everything that I am told, I have a one of a kind, fun attitude, and I am very easy-going. Softball is my passion and I am willing to do anything that I can to further my career at the collegiate level. I have been playing softball since I was 4 and I have switched playing outfield and first place throughout little league and have played first base non-stop since 7th grade. I absolutely love the sport and every aspect of it. I am different from all the other recruits because I have experience in my positions from little league on. Also, I carried a 4.1 GPA with AP courses, honors classes, multiple extracurricular activities, and while playing basketball, volleyball, and softball.
