Alisia Palms '20 Recruiting Profile

One of my biggest strengths I can bring to your team is my versatility. You can put me anywhere, in the past I have pitched, caught, played middle infield, third base, and outfield. Up until my freshman year, my main positions were P and SS. I pitched and played shortstop and pinch ran on my high school's varsity team as a freshman. In the summer after my freshman year, we needed a catcher. I had never caught in my life before that. My coaches thought it would be a good idea to see if I could do it. I got the hang of it quickly and started as our catcher my sophomore year.  When I wasn't catching, I started at second base. My junior year, we needed a shortstop, so I started there. But we also needed a catcher, so I also caught. My junior year, we had a slower third basemen and we played teams who liked to play small ball. So, when we knew the other team was going to bunt, me and the third basemen switched for the at bat to get the out. Right now, I am playing at Madison College, a junior college. I am playing outfield!
