My biggest aspiration in life is to make a difference, to be different, to do different, to be strong, accomplished, successful, and therefore create success. That is why I am going to major in Postsecondary-education. I want to make a difference in children's lives, I want the chance to make a positive impact. Another reason I aspire to be a teacher is because the job comes with summers off, a time that I would take to coach, to pass on my knowledge of the best game I have ever known, the game of softball. I am lucky enough to have a high school coach that also started his own travel league that I currently play for. I desire to follow in his footsteps and build a place for young girls to come and learn what it’s like to be on a team, to be disciplined and respectful as well as how to encourage others and how to come together during hard times and succeed.
I am a leader on and off the softball field. I have been president of my class two years in a row, I am a member of the National Honor Society and was elected by the Johnson Creek High School Staff to represent our school district at Badger Girls State. I am also currently a captain of my high school and travel softball teams. I am a three sport varsity athlete, competing in volleyball and basketball (With all conference honors). While doing this I have maintained a 3.5 GPA and I am waiting on my ACT test scores.
What I am looking for in a college team is to be a piece of a puzzle. I know that everyone has a place on a team and I am excited and ready to find mine. I want to be something that can bring a team together and help create something great. There is no better feeling then fitting in with a team and becoming so close it is like a second family. I am excited to find out how I can fit into your program.
