Personal Statement

I have been an athlete for as long as I can remember. I started in rec programs dancing, swimming and playing baseball/softball.  My passion for the field was undeniable and I built on my foundation to join a Club/Travel softball team, exchanged dance for volleyball, and started tennis.  I continued to grow and advance as an athlete participating in summer lifting/training programs alongside my busy travel softball schedule and play both Varsity Softball and Varsity Tennis. I love everything about the game-my teammates, the strategy, tracking a ball in the outfield, and the way everything gets quiet when I step in the box.

Through sport I have learned valuable lessons: to be determined, have grit, be a good listener, be passionate, be a good teammate. I have developed leadership both on and off the field as the lead off hitter for my club and high school team setting a calm, strong tone.  I am a Board Member for Key Club where I have been able to plan and participate in nearly 75 hours of volunteer work in my community including helping run a youth softball class. This volunteer work led to the job I have in a healthcare facility where I continue to see the value in hard work and helping others.

I am excited for the opportunity to develop academically, athletically, and as a person. I am looking for a program to get reps, time in the gym, watching film; a school that will allow me to achieve academically with career goals working with people or dentistry; and a place I can continue to reach for lifelong success.

I bring speed on the field, patience in the box, and all around consistency. Any time we have to do what we love is invaluable and I am grateful for every opportunity.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
