Hi, I am Lillyan Hamilton. I am a sophomore at Lamar Community College pursuing an associate’s degree in agricultural production and management and a one-year agriculture certificate. I played my first year with an NJCAA Div. III team, placing second in the nation. In my first year, I was named Mon-Dak All-Conference Academic team and NFCA All-American Scholar through softball by maintaining a 4.0 GPA during the school year. I then transferred to Lamar, looking for a different atmosphere, and am now looking forward to continuing my higher-level education and softball career for 2 more years at a 4-year institution. At a 4-year I am looking to pursue a bachelor’s degree in animal science and possibly a minor in agricultural business. As far as softball is concerned, I am just looking for an institution and program that is a good fit so I can have the chance to play the sport I am passionate about for a couple more years.
