My ultimate goal is to play at the next level. I want to be apart of the 5% that has the ability to say that they went to the next level.
I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old. I came home from school one day with a flyer and insisted for weeks that I quit dance and play softball. Ever since then I have tried a handful of positions including outfield, catcher, shortstop, third base and first base which is where I play right now for my high school team.
One of my proudest accomplishments is taking away a No hitter from the top ranked pitcher in Wyoming during the 22-23 Season. I hit a double to right field. Even though my team lost it is still a core memory I have. I have received several awards and accolades over my years of playing. Some of these being two varsity letters my freshman year I was one of two freshman to letter. I have also received outstanding freshman and sophomore awards, leader of the week awards, as well as team pride and best attitude awards. My Junior year I earned the state golden glove award as well as West Team All Conference. I recently received a student leader award for going to our state capital and speaking in front of senators as why my school is in need of a new building. There has been several others but these are some of the notable ones. Academic wise I have received outstanding GPA awards, tutoring awards and several others. As well as athletics I am also the Student Council Ambassador for the 2024-2025 school year, as well as a decorated tennis athlete and the school mascot. I was also previously the Student Council Secretary for the 2023-2024 school year.
Softball is truly a passion of mine and I love teaching others about it. On Fridays from 9AM to 2PM I teach hitting and fielding lessons to ages 4-14. I have also helped with several youth camps within the community along with that I also work for the civic center in my city and my job is to teach kids how to play sports and have leadership and communication skills.
I would like to attend a college where I can push myself to not only be the best athlete or the best student but the pest possible version of myself. I would hope to pursue a degree in Biology or something that can put me on path to Medical school. I am open to all my options but my hope is to find a college where I can make most importantly myself proud, but also everyone who has ever believed in me. Including my parents, peers, friends, family, coaches, and my teammates.
