Personal Statement

I have been playing softball since I was seven. My dad played softball so I grew up watching softball. I love watching college softball so I can learn how to play better by watching girls that have more experience than me. I would love to learn more techniques and or tips to make me a better player.

I am a pitcher, I can throw a fastball, change up, and drop ball. I am working on throwing a screwball and hope to be able to throw a riseball. I would love to learn how to throw more pitches.

I mainly play shortstop and third when I'm not pitching, but love playing all positions. I am very versatile and just love to play no matter what position. I am a righthanded hitter, I have the ability to hit to all fields with power. I would love to be able to slap and drag bunt better but love trying.

My travel team has won 3 state championships and have won several tournaments in Wyoming and Colorado. I’ve always been one of the leaders on my travel team, as being a pitcher there comes a lot of responsibility and I think most of pitching is having a lot of mental integrity. I'm very dedicated to softball and I’ve been to several camps in Colorado and Wyoming and Montana.

Finding a good academic school that would allow me to continue my dream of playing softball while pursuing a degree in psychology  or healthcare field is my goal.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
