Ansleigh Virden '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I’m Ansleigh Virden. I am in the graduating class of 2026, starting my junior year at Sipsey Valley high school in Buhl Al. I’ve kept a 3.6 GPA taking advanced classes and dual enrollment courses. At Sipsey I am a multi sport athlete, softball, flag football, track, and basketball. During the summer I play for Alabama Fire (blue) 18u. I have always been considered a leader and I’ve obtained this roll by being vocal,willing, and dedicated. I’m always up and talking during the games. Letting everyone know where the play is, cheering my teammates on, or even helping fix mistakes. I am willing to play anywhere my coach needs a player. As a multi sport athlete I practice multiple times a day, but I make sure to go to every practice and give it 100%. Something that sets me aside from other athletes is my knowledge of the game. Being around it for so long has really shaped me into the ball player I am today.
