I'm a 2024 senior at Greenville High School, where I have played basketball since the seventh grade. I started at Greenville Middle School with Coach Owens and received the MVP 2018-2019 Girls Basketball reward. I also played for the City of Greenville under Coach Sandra Roper where I received an award for 2018 12U Girls League Champions and 2018 12U Girls MVP. While in the 7th-8th grade, I was given the opportunity by Coach Peagler to play for Greenville High School. While under Coach Peagler, I received an award and plaque for the 2022 AHSAA CLASS 5A Area 4 Girls Basketball Tournament. During my ninth grade year, I was invited to play with the Southern Stars 11th and 12th grader traveling team, coached by Coach Heard. Last year I scored 1000 points and was awarded by Coach Hawkins-Cheatham and my teammates. I have received many accolades from schools/colleges, camps, and traveling teams for my hard work and dedication. I have attended several D1 camps this year; Jackson State, Shelton State, and Alabama State where I received several awards Freda Freeman Jackson D-1 camp 5 on 5 winner and Freda Freeman Jackson D-1 camp Gotcha Winner. My last award was received this summer from BCGA Corners to College ASU Future Hornet Award. I am not only dedicated to basketball but to my academics as well. I have maintained a GPA of 2.5 and even though I haven't scored as I would like to on my ACT I have been determined to keep retesting to improve my score. I am a well-dedicated and devoted young lady who has great ambition and needs the opportunity to continue to grow academically and athletically.
