Brianna Jones '12 Recruiting Profile

I am Brianna Jones my teamates on both  teams call me Bri and grandma. One reason why they call me grandma is because i take care of my teamates. If one of them is missing something for a game or practice or they need something to tie their hair up with i got it. I first start playing basketball in 2002 for a community team at a recreational center. I stopped and starting back in 2008. I love basketball so much! My accomplishments is earning the mvp awards at a tournement because i took the winning shot. I also earned a mvp award at an area game for playing hard after i fractured my femur bone and i played hard and did not give as i was in pain. I can offer a team encouragement, strive, and leadership. I am that girl that starts practices sometimes and encourage my teammates when they have messed up in a game. My dream has always been to play basketball in college. When i can not play basketball because of a injury i cried, but i had to stay strong for the team. Also, i love being a post player and boxing people out and rebounding. I also love shooting in the paint.  I want to go to a school that is Alabama and that is small. I wanna go to a small school and play basketball so I can get recognized. I am looking at going to Tuskeegee University, Southern Mississippi, Talladega College, Montevallo University, Stillman University, Alabama A&M, and University of Alabama in Birmingham. I am willing to go to any college that is small and in Alabama. I will apply for FAFSA. My desired major is Business and Management and Criminal Justice. My goals are to have playing time and become friends witht the teammates and encourage them throughout the season. I wanna have fun and enjoy the school that i go to and the basketball team. I love basketball and it is my dream to play on a college level.
