I currently am attending Clay- Chalkville High school as a junior. I work hard on and off the court without making any excuses, and have learned how to be coachable and a leader off and on the court. I am a disciplined player who goes 110% in everything I do. Through the years, I have learned how to turn my emotion for the game into competitiveness and compassion, boosting my knowledge of the game. I focus on the small things, from free throws, to passing, to help defense, because the small things is what it takes to win. My coaches help me understand the most specific parts of the game, so that in game scenarios it becomes easier. I use every opportunity to get better and learn more about the game so that I have more to bring to the table than just shooting. Although basketball brings late nights, I manage my time wisely to make sure my classroom performance matches my performance on the floor. I take the term ”student- athlete” seriously and expect myself to uphold the expectations of being a student- athlete. My success is deeper than the game of basketball, I want to conquer every obstacle I come across so that I am a well- rounded individual.
