Ever since I started playing basketball in grade 7, I fell in love with the sport. My attitude towards my teammates is uplifting and I always know how to lighten up the mood despite the situation at hand. I have gone to several camps to better my skills for the next seasons and try to utilise any opportunity to practice that I can get. As this is my graduating year, I’m not ready to never touch a basketball again so I’m committed to playing wherever life takes me.
I have had a part time job since I was fourteen, which allowed me to purchase my own vehicle five months before I got my license. In the warmer months, my family and I enjoy bush camping and bringing out our side by sides to ride the trail systems. In the colder months, I really enjoy snowboarding on the mountains, skating on the outdoor rinks in town, and watching my local hockey teams play. I make time regularly to go to the gym where I periodically work with a personal trainer.
I will complete the required courses and credentials to graduate in January of 2023 with a Bilingual Certificate of Excellence. Due to french curriculum limitations, I have taken both biology and chemistry as student driven courses. I have a strong interest in the sciences, primarily in the field of biology.
I am a good player, and with great coaching, I have the potential to be great. I am a hard worker, I am coachable, and I am an excellent teammate. I am excited for future opportunities playing the sport I love.
