Alina Bowden '24 Recruiting Profile

My college aspiration is to earn both a basketball scholarship and an academic scholarship to fund my college education. I am a goal oriented and driven young lady; I plan to become a veterinarian and one day ideally own a practice. As a hard working individual, I would be a good candidate for an athletic scholarship to play women’s basketball at the collegiate level.  I have a 4.0 GPA in high school and am currently taking college courses at a local community college. I am eager to grow, develop and further my skill set both on and off the basketball court. I strive to better myself daily not only for myself, but also for my teammates. I may appear to be quiet, but have a force about me!  A coach told that I have a “high court IQ and the ability to see the floor well” which sets me apart from others.
