My goal is to continue to play basketball at the next level. I am pursuing a degree and career in physical therapy/ sports medicine. I grew up watching my older sister play ball and used her success to set goals for myself as well. I help and encourage my teammates and lead by working hard myself.
I am highly motivated and attend not only my team practices, but additional 1 to 2 hour skill and strength training workouts 2-4 days a week. I am dedicated to making myself better to help my team be better. We were class 3A state champions in 2020 and I am excited to see what my senior year holds for my team. I serve in several clubs and have community service hours helping others as well. I have maintained a 4.012 GPA (having only had 1 B in one semester since starting school). I took AP English and honors Alg. II my junior year and scored a 3 on the AP test. I am taking Comp I this year as well. I have competed in volleyball (named all conference), track (all state and winning a state championship with my team in 2019), I also am part of the FFA show team. I have won at the state level in showing, 4 showmanship titles, and 6 champion animals, as well as numerous wins at county and district levels. I know what work and dedication it takes to achieve my goals and I am willing to push to get there.
