I am a 5’7 combo guard from Arcadia, California and will graduate in the 2020 class. I was born in Staten Island, New York, and moved to Los Angeles, California with my family, July of 2016 when I started High School. I have been playing basketball for almost 10 years including club and travel leagues and was a high school starter on the varsity team for the last 3 years, from the 10th - 12th grade. After having been under many different types of coaching styles, both on the East and West Coast, I have learned a lot about adapting to new and diverse environments and teammates. I was able to earn my way to be a part of the 1st team All-League for the Olympic League, and 1st team All-Area of San Gabriel Valley, and Defensive MVP of the Olympic League. I have also worked hard to keep a 3.3 GPA. I am looking for an institution that will allow me to succeed both athletically and academically. I am very passionate about basketball for many reasons. It has allowed me to improve my people skills and my ability to work well with others. It has also brought out a sense of leadership that has helped me excel in the academic environment.
My goal is to play at the highest level possible as a college athlete. I want to be a part of a program that is willing to give me a chance to prove myself. I am always working to become the best version of myself both athletically and as a person. My drive, grit, and faith to want to be the best I can be is what brings me to also help the people around me be the best they can be. My desire to play at the college level is what has motivated me to be the first and last one in the gym. I hustle to make sure that I am the hardest worker and player and the results are seen both on and off the court. My competitive spirit and my belief in teamwork help me be a great player for any school. I believe my best fit would be at the DII level, or high academic DIII opportunities.
